Our philosophy and methods emphasize team collaboration by family, students, educators, and clinicians to better understand and nurture children's individual strengths and opportunities for growth.

Parents are the most important people in a child's life. Our goal is to build a parent/tutor alliance to support students academically, emotionally, and socially. We are continually amazed at the insights of parents and family members. No one knows your child better, and we cannot do what we do without you.. Which values do you want us to support? What activities do you want us to encourage? Do you want us to be aware of certain cultural customs or habits? Our goal is to gather adequate information and be active participants in setting goals and future plans for your children.

Our educational coaches assist classroom teachers in developing modified lesson plans for students with special needs so they can spend the most time possible in inclusive environments. The goal is to transition to their full-time educational setting as independently and quickly as possible. We strive to support classroom teachers by replicating and accelerating skills in an alternate environment for easy transitions and generalization.

Your Child's Psychologist

The role of psychologist in providing professional testing and making recommendations helps us to pinpoint the exact areas of need for students. With your written permission, we work collaboratively with psychologists to design an efficient effective individualized program and to provide feedback as needed.

Other Professionals

Related services personnel such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, vision therapists, social workers, mobility specialists, physical therapists, and medical personnel directly profoundly influence collaborative interactions and decision-making. "It takes a village" to raise a child is more and more meaningful as professionals increase their skills and contribute to individual growth.
